Julie grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada but has lived in Utah the last 18 years. She is the oldest of 5 children. Her family moved to Cedar City, UT when she was in high school and has been here ever since. She has been married to her longtime crush for 14 years and they have 3 children; a girl and 2 boys. She can't imagine living away from the surrounding mountains. Julie loves spending time outdoors, any time spent with family, cooking, reading, and learning. 

Education and work experience:

Julie received her associates in nursing from Dixie State University in 2013. She has worked as a hospice nurse, jail nurse, school/special needs nurse, orthopedic surgery nurse, and long term care/rehab nurse. She received her bachelor's degree in nursing in 2019 from Western Governors University. Then, she went on to get her master's as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from Frontier Nursing University in February 2022. She has been working with Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital since then and with San Juan Counseling Center since September 2022.
