Bethany is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about helping people find hope and healing through life difficulties. She is EMDR-trained and specializes in treating people who have experienced trauma. Additionally, she assists people through depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and phase of life issues.
Bethany takes a person-centered approach to therapy and utilizes empathy, compassion, and evidence-based treatments to help cater to the needs of each individual. She enjoys working with all ages and stages of life and celebrates the diversity of her clients. She uses a holistic approach to healing that incorporates mind, body, emotions, and behaviors. Her greatest joy in counseling is to help people recognize who they are and how to take the next steps.
She utilizes trauma therapies such as EMDR, Inner Child Work, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Additionally, she incorporates CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Compassion-focused therapy into her practice.
Bethany was raised in Southern California but has lived in Utah for the past 25 years. She loves gardening, hiking, writing, traveling, and spending time with her two delightful children.
